Neurotide is a spin-off company from The University of Queensland's commercial arm, UniQuest Pty Ltd.

The company's research is led by UQ's Professor Istvan Toth and Dr Joanne Blanchfield, who are creating an oral pharmaceutical for pain. They are demonstrating that the drug can relieve pain in vivo. If this research is successful, the company will move towards human trials.

Neurotide recently received $249,450 funding from the Australian Government's Biotechnology Innovation Fund (BIF) to carry out this proof of concept work.

Investors are sought to help us continue development. We hope to access the international market for pain drugs, and are particularly targeting the neuropathic pain market.
